BA flight sale -Soon?

I heard a rumour that the flight sale is on next week? Does this sound about right?
My flights for next August have not been released yet, so I sort of hope they will wait a bit! I'm sure the sale was later in 2016?
Last sale we booked a 3 week fly drive direct to Miami during school holidays for £500pp! I reeeally want more of that.

I’m checking every day!

Sales are usually (historically, from experience) June, Aug/Sept & Dec/Jan for economy.

I’m praying it’s soon, but in reality no one knows but BA!

xx

I never find prices cheaper in sale , I watched prices every day after returning in May, for our trip next May, the prices would go up and down every day, I booked at beginning of July and I looked again today and prices have gone up by £400 per person already so I’m happy with price I paid

This is what makes me think that a sale is coming soon. Flights I have been monitoring (to Canada) have also gone up quite a bit since early July. That's what I am hoping, or I'm going to kick myself for not biting the bullet and booking back then!

BA call centre agents don't get advance notice of any sales so it is pure conjecture - all we can go on is historic data which would indicate at least a September sale. But it is BA so the only thing we can do is check and check again.

It's such a lottery with prices I always think best to book at a price you feel comfortable with and never look back. If only I followed my own advice😅
