Fruit stall?

Hi,

Does anyone happen to know of a fruit stall on or near Hw 27 Davenport? I probably wont have time to head to a farmers market but would prefer to buy from a local seller rather than Walmart etc for quality and price.

I did use to see a guy selling watermelons near championsgate out of his pick up truck but can't recall seeing a fruit stall anywhere, but am sure a dibber mentioned something a while back

Thanks

I like buying from these guys if I see them in time to pull over. They tend to sell different things depending on which one you come across. Also, I've found they might have 3/4 different types of produce or loads of one type, e.g melons.

I think Gryff has mentioned using them, but can't remember specifics. She knows some areas very well, so should be able to help if she sees the thread.

Just to add, the ones I've come across have been make-shift, probably temporary set ups, not an official stall, as such: hand written sign, if any. No idea if they are competitive price-wise but the fruit and veg is fresh.

Hi Gryff, Is the FM open specific days/times or every day? What sort of produce do they sell? Thanks.

Open Wednesday to Saturday they sell everything that's in season
It's all fruit veg flowers honey and some of the best Chillies garlic and home made oils no artisan things like soap gifts etc
The smaller one on the 27 is open every day I'm just sat by the pool with the avacado and prawns I bought yesterday with ranch dressing

Thanks for that
Awww, that sounds like bliss; have a fab time.

Gryff, how did they display the fresh prawns? Just wondering about them being in the heat. Not sure prawns are something I'd buy from a stall, however, I'd go by your recommendation.
