I toured the rooms at the preview centre the other day and asked why the dues were so high. The explanation was that this is the only resort to be fully DVD owned (is that right?), and maintenance for the Skyliner. They do not have a Tower studio available to view at SSR, and the guide wasn’t able to even describe to me the size of the room.

Thanks Jackie. I don’t swallow their explanation as to the fully owned bit- so is BLT, SSR, OKW etc. The Skyliner seems to be a big reason and it is interesting to have that confirmed.
As an aside I was looking at the points on the booking system yesterday as I was thinking of stopping there for a week over Xmas as I like the 1 beds. Phew, it’s expensive points wise, not VGF expensive but much more than Beach Club, OKW etc. I’d need 500-600 points minimum there if I bought from scratch.

Getting a Tower Studio will be neigh on impossible at peak, they’ve only sold a very small number of the points and I understand they are already booked up for Xmas.
