If you love scenery, HUGE scenery then you will love it.

I've just checked and we did 8 nights around the National parks not 7 with a couple of nights stay in Vegas at either end.

If you, or anyone else interested in doing a similar trip wants, I've got my notes still that I could copy and paste with a lot of things to see and do on the route. It's fairly extensive mind you so I won't post on here!
Anyone interested, just PM me and I'd be happy to share
I can imagine it’s just jaw dropping if DV and the GC are anything to go by!
That would be fantastic thank you. A girl after my own heart, the planning is half the fun 😬
Will PM you now

We are there right now, parts of Bryce still closed off due to winter snow pack, which is a shame.

We went to Bryce one year in early June and the trails only opened the week before due to a snowstorm. Wasn’t any sign of snow or ice when we arrived.

Hi guys we took a step further last year and did yellowstone 4 nights just amazing , valley floor at 8000 ft. We entered the park through the mountains and into the Lamar valley . Over the snow covered mountains at 11000 ft was just spectacular. This was 1st week July flying into Denver and onto Bozeman.

Signtalker if you can stay at the lodges saves on the extra time travelling . We found it fantastic, simple acc but well worth it . We did a couple of guided tours which where informative and good fun within the party of 15

We went in late April 2015 and had not give Bryce a miss cos of snow.

We did make Sedona, monument valley (stay at the view amazing), arches and canyon lands so it wasn’t a complete wash out.

We have just come back from our trip. We stayed in Vegas but visited Death Valley (warm, not hot), and the GC South Rim. It was very windy when we got there and snow the next morning! We were going to do Zion but the forecast wasn't good (snow/rain mix and cold) so we gave it a miss. I wouldn't go as early as April again as there's still snow around and some trails and roads are still shut.

No we didn’t like them, we had a superb cabin just outside with bison in the garden, we prefer our space and also to self cater , not tour people either as dh is profoundly deaf so we do our own thing we were literally 5 minutes from the entrance, and it was superb, 9 bear first thing in the morning without anybody around.
The driving isn’t an issue at 5am in the morning.the cabin we rented is a very well known animal photographer, and we had many many tips on where to go to see what ( not on tourist strip) , he also put us in touch with the chap who filmed the great grey owl on the bbc tv show Yellowstone.
Dh is a birder , so diy cabins and accommodations are a must for us, we’re up and out most days at 5am .

We went to Bryce Canyon in March, in the snow. Some of the roads were closed within the park but what we saw was spectacular!
