Considering Indirect for the first time - help...

Have you tried Aer Lingus bhx-dub-mco? I’m finding their quotes much cheaper than even BA bhx-dub-mco price using the same flights

Oh - forgot to ask. Do people book directly on the airlines websites, or use sites like Skyscanner

I can’t help with advice about indirect as we’ve never been indirect but we’re considering it if it will save money.

I have discovered though that Lufthansa fly from Birmingham via Frankfurt into Orlando and Tampa. They seem very reasonable cost wise. Return layovers on the dates I looked at were quite long though. They do also fly from Manchester in the same routes which we find easier than London from the midlands or Heathrow rather than Gatwick for London flights.

Always book direct, if you get delayed and miss your connection the airline will put you on the next available flight, but be aware that flight could be much later or even the next day .
We were delayed in Charlotte two weeks ago and the next flight to south Florida was 10 hrs later .
We chose to try and chance it and we were last on the plane one of the cases didn’t make it it came on the late flight.
