Mobile Space Mountain

Hi all 🖐

We went on Space Mountain for the first time last year and ended up coming off the ride feeling all shaken up lol.

Does the ride have two different tracks (ie one that doesn't feel as jerky or rickety as the other) or am I imagining that? We'd love to go on again but we came off feeling all over the show.

Thank you 😊

I dislike space mountain at wdw it’s really jerky whichever side you go on.

I don’t bother going on it anymore as it’s a waste of a fast pass.

There are two different tracks... but unfortunately they are both equally rickety. It's the reason why I avoid Space Mountain in WDW...

Thanks both maybe we should avoid it then lol. It reminds me of the old cat and mouse ride that used to be at Blackpool Pleasure Beach and that was scary enough in the daylight! 😲

The first time I went on it I took my backpack on and felt like I was going to fall out! I have been on it since though and been fine.

We loce Space Mountain. There are two tracks and whilst I think one is a mirror of the other, we definitely felt that one side was much faster and more intense on our last visit (Cant remember which side it was though!)

Both fast and jerky, you just have to be relaxed and absorb the bumps

This is what we thought. We've watched YouTube videos of the ride with the lights on and I have to say even though the tracks mirror one another, the right track does look more 'smooth'. We were on the left track.

This is the one place where DLP wins. Space Mountain is much better in Paris.

Probably due to WDW space mountain being built in the 1960’s

Still one of the top WDW attractions
