It makes my fillings rattle. I dont go on it anymore as I feel so rickety in my bones after!

Not been on it for years. Find it uncomfortable and not enjoyable. Maybe I'm getting old lol! 😂. My DS and DH go on but I think DH would pass on it now if he could.

Left side is a much smoother ride. They are exactly the same layout, but I always find the left one (if you go left at the FP merge point) to be a much smoother ride.

Considering WDW's Space Mountain opened in 1975, I doubt it was built in the 1960s. Conceived in the 1960s, yes, but it was built in the 70s. Like myself.

It's always seemed jerky and rickety whenever I've been on it. And, I agree, it's like the old Wild Mouse ride at Blackpool Pleasure Beach - but in the dark which makes it seem even jerkier!

I don’t like Space Mountain because of being flung about, unfortunately DH likes it a lot and I do usually book our FP together. Last time I decided not to bother so as soon as he tapped in I cancelled mine and booked Winnie the Pooh for myself, much better.

I still love Space Mountain and the impending feeling of death you get on it!

I feel like if you don't already have an anxiety condition, Space Mountain will give you one.

We have just done Space Mountain for the first time at MK and I was a bit disappointed by it. Space Mountain at Paris is much better imo

Space Mountain is such a different experience in all the parks! The name is the same but the track layout and the overall experience is just so so different.

WDW - rickety experience that I avoid (even if the queue is 5 minutes)
DLP - pretty awesome and goes upside down and love the launch
DL - pretty fun too, no inversions though!

We love SM at both WDW and DLP. Sitting in the front at WDW is much better than sitting anywhere else as you have absoltely no warning for any of the turns. Love it and can't wait to ride it again in July.
