Cancelling VA car hire
Can I still do this if I have already done OLCI?
Rental starts 16th May
I now find that Alamo Brits are £60 cheaper for the same std SUV and £3 dearer to get a Premium SUV.

I assume I have to phone VA to cancel? I’ll look up my paperwork to find the number.

Thanks in advance for any info.

Yes, you can cancel with VA, even after doing the OLCI.

It amazes me why people book the 'free' car with virgin and pay a fortune for the insurances, i booked through Andy in Feb, so check him out too! Fab service by the way!

Yep you’ll have to phone. Very straightforward though, no questions asked and had the money back in my account in a few days when I cancelled a few months ago.

And it amazes me too. I have a stand-alone rental with VA and it comes with full insurance. Absolutely nothing to do with the free car, as you put it, with a VH package. I never do packages always DIY.
Andy is aware that I’ve checked with him but my driver requirements made his quote higher. He was most helpful during the process by the way.

I cancelled a May 19 booking and had about 4 E Mails thanking me for my booking.
However the money was in my account within 3 days.
