Mobile Bus route around CBR

Hi,

Can anyone tell me if the bus route around CBR has changed due to the Riviera and Skyliner works. Is there a set route they follow? Also is the bus service around CBR as bad as i’ve Been reading. Looking to book next year, but with 2 young kids (aged 2 and 4) the long transfers to the parks i’ve been reading about is making me think twice about everything!

We were 'upgraded' to a Pirate room (two adults) mainly because of the lack of uptake for them as they are the furthest away from everything except your quiet pool. Didnt bother us except for when it was in the 90's n seemed a hell of a long walk to the main pool or buildings. There were 8 bus stops & some mornings the one you wanted either didnt come or came in already full so didnt actually stop. While we were ther a few people were late for their breakfast ADR's. This was back in 2016, things may well have changed since then. We would personally not stay there again others love it there but you asked specifically about the buses & that was our take on them.

Thank you for your reply. It’s the size of the resort that is slightly putting me off. A long walk in the 90’s will take even longer when we’ve got 2 small tired children with us. Contemplating upgrading to a preferred room so we’ll be close to main pool etc and hopefully one of the first pick up/drop offs on the bus.

I copied this in to my holiday planning notes recently - think it was from the HUGE CBR thread that's running:
Buses now start at Martinique, 2nd OPR, 3rd Barbados, 4th Trinidad, 5th Jamaica, 6th Aruba. In the morning up until around 10am Jamaica & Aruba has a separate bus to the parks. The rest of the day they're shared. But, it's worth keeping an eye on things before you go as the bus route may well revert back to the way it used to be once Riviera is open.

Also I believe there is a new bus stop being built at the Skyliner Station

Is there? Not read or heard about that. I wonder if it will be a regular part of the route, or just in case the Skyliner has to stop working in case of storms etc, that buses will then go there to pick up any guests waiting to take them to the parks?

If you look at the Passport to the Parks the new bus stop is visible in his videos from outside the station, in fact his more recent videos show the roof has been put on it. Presumably it would be for guests at the northern end of the resort to get to the Skyliner which is by Jamaica without having to walk all the way round the lake so I am guessing it will be a regular stop. The guy on there seems to think it will be

Thanks. I've not had chance to have a look at his latest videos as they all seem to be 1hr+ long.
Hopefully it will be an internal shuttle like they used to have when Custom House was all out on it's own, rather than an additional stop on the loop.
