How long to eat in a Disney table service restaurant?
Looking for a bit of knowledge/guidance to help with my planning in advance of our 60 day out Fastpass booking day.
We are a family of 3 but DS is 11 so adult meals, no help from us required at buffets etc! Below are some of the ADRs we have booked that we are looking to book fastpasses around: Mama Melrose - Fantasmic Package 3pm Liberty Tree Tavern - 5pm Crystal Palace - 10am Yak & Yeti - 1pm San Angel Inn - 6pm Tusker House - 6pm CRT - 5.30pm For our other ADRs we don't need to make plans based on them so time doesn't matter. I am wondering how long to factor in, on average, for each meal in our plans. Can anybody advise please? I appreciate that we may need to wait to be seated, we may need to wait for Characters to come round etc. so really just looking for a ball point estimate. I would like to book fastpasses for after some of the meals and don't want to be stressed about eating into our 1hr window if the meal takes longer than expected and not enjoy the meal as a result. |

Once you are seated, all of those should be able to be done in an hour (an hour and a half max) I would say.
Just worth thinking about what FastPasses you are going to book for straight after your meal. We had one booked for ToT for straight after Mama Melrose and in hindsight I don't think that was a wise decision |

We always allow 1.5 - 2 hours after a meal before booking any rides that are bouncy/fast etc. just to allow our food to go down.

Thank you for your replies.
I had thought around an hour but will maybe go for booking carefully selected (non - throw up inducing) fastpasses for 1.5hrs after our ADR times to build in a little bit of scope for hold up and extra time for food to go down. |

The last time I did Crystal Palace and Tuskers it took around 90 minutes (I think a bit longer for Crystal Palace...) for all the characters to make it round. I think we were unlucky in our rotations of both, but worth baring in mind character meals may take a little longer.
