Buying Glasses Online, Who would you recommend ?

I need new reading glasses and fed up of walking round at work with either glasses perched on top of my head or peering over the top of them like an old school master. So thought i would give some vari-focals a try. You seem to be able the buy the len's and frames much more cheaply online rather than from an optician's, spec-savers etc but i am a little dubious, Any one bought glasses this way and used a company that they would care to recommend ?

Thanks

Selectspecs 👍I've been using them for a few years now.
I have reading glasses and driving glasses.
I bought some cheap ones for my first purchase just to see what they were like. Very easy to upload script, received them within a week and good customer services. I leave the cheap ones in the car.
Then ordered some decent ones, same great service.
I'll just get my prescription next time at vision Express, I definitely won't be paying their prices😮
If the glasses are a bit loose, I just blow my hair dryer on the arm until its warm/hot, and slightly bend them in. Easy 🙂

Getting varifocals is a bit more difficult online as opticians have to measure where your varifocal line should be and do that by looking at you and measuring.

Bifocals should be ok online though.

I've used select specs and glasses direct and been very happy with both. My prescription is pretty simple though so I'm not sure if that makes a difference!

Any particular recommendations or tips on vari-focals gratefully accepted ?
