I genuinely wasn’t meaning to be disparaging of Redcar .Sorry if it came across that way. The word ‘ sadly’ wasn’t sarcastic . The people from there are great but it really could do with some investment in the area .

And I doubt many people from Redcar think the Beacon was money well spent .
