ESTAs expired.
If you look on the Esta site there is a proclamation saying estas have been expired for people from UK and Europe

{edit to add} who attempt to travel in violation of the proclamation

Bigger problems to worry about I suppose. But if fingers crossed the world heals itself before we are due to travel in Oct. I suppose this means I’ll have to redo them.

It reads to me that the ESTA will be cancelled only if you try to travel

I agree. It was mentioned elsewhere that if you do API it will cancel ESTA which would make sense. I haven’t checked ours as don’t see the point just now.
