Sending virtual hugs , it must be so hard in normal circumastances let alone now. My Cousin suffered for years with constant vomiting and running to the loo, she lost so much weight she couldn't stand for more than 10 mins. She had a stoma fitted just 3 months ago and the change is dramatic, she can keep food down for the first time in years and has put on weight. she can now run around the garden with her kids.
She resisted the op for so long now she feels that was lost time and she also said it changed her life for the better.

I was in a similar situation 25 years ago. Mine took so long to diagnose (thanks to a GP who decided I must be anorexic) that by the time they did my intestine was so badly inflamed that I had to have 25cm cut out.

They managed to reconnect it and 25 years on I still need no additional treatment.
