Joseph And The Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat is streaming for free tonight on The Shows Must Go On - a new YouTube channel.

Starring Donny Osmond (looking remarkably chipper for his age), Maria Friedman, and featuring a few famous faces in cameo roles too.

Now, some years ago (a long time after the Bible began...) I went to a Joseph singalong, and it occurs to me that would be fun thing to try at home.

I don't know if subtitles will be available, but if not, you can just la la la the bits you don't remember.

So here are some ideas:

When Donny makes his first entrance, in a cloud of dry ice, shout as loud as you can "SING DONNY SING!"

During the 'coat' song, wave appropriately coloured bits of fabric, teatowels, clothes etc. (Hint: if in doubt choose red, it's always first!)

Wave glowsticks or use the 'torch' function on your phone during 'Close Every Door'.

Anyone got any other ideas?

I have the video of Joseph when he was starring in it and have to say he looked very nice in it.
