I believe it’s based on the amount you spend and the percentage of items you keep as well as if you have accepted sale slots before and used them.

I never seem to get a text or email as DD works for Next so rarely order anything as she gets me things with her discount but have just logged on and got 6.30 Wednesday slot

I think the staff get to do the sale before the vip slots so she may be able to get you a few bargains there

The main problem now is that the couriers get access something like from 3pm on the afternoon the VIP starts, there are THOUSANDS of next couriers (who work Self employed for Hermes) and they tend to buy up a lot of the designer / popular stuff to wang it on ebay!

I got a 4.30pm slot on wednesday, I tend to look whats in from 4pm on the day as that is a good indicator of what will still be there when the slot opens.

They changed the rules a bit ago about the "must have a current catalogue" so you don't HAVE to have one, but you do have to have ordered out of the current seasons catalogue and kept a certain % of items

I think once you’re on the list you’re there until you upset them 😂

I have the first slot too and haven’t ordered anything other than sale items for at least 3 years. I also return quite a lot.

For what’s its worth, my slot is Wednesday 4.30. Have a list of what I want ready to go but just re input the numbers and a lot no longer available. can only assume staff and courier buying up.
