I have very short spikey hair and my scalp burns if I don't wear a hat. I'm a redhead too so have to wear sunscreen. Avon do a face one which could be used for heads.

My DH uses Ultrasun Family Factor 30 specifically for prickly heat suffers but they also do a Factor 50, non sticky or runny then he also wears a cap too.

Some great recommendations there, thank you

He will have his cap on most times and he is already quite tanned but with the forecast temperatures next week he needs something good

This happens to me. No Ad is generally the best suncream full stop, but it's impossible to stop all running in extreme humidity and heat situations.

DH uses Malibu scalp spray - he gets it from Amazon. He’s used others but finds them too greasy. The bottle is quite small, but goes a long way.

I have to use a very water resistant (silicone rich) sunscreen or my sweaty head will just wash a 'normal' cream right off. I've been using Nivea Sun SPF 50+ Sensitive Immediate Protect Spray for years. Easy spray so very little waste & never any clogging.
