Grey Paint Recommendations

Hi

I'm looking for a pale grey colour for my hall and stairs, I've spent pounds on tester pots for a grey paint that is a true grey and the tester posts that I have are looking either too blue or too lilac.

It must be a pale grey as the area doesn't get too much natural light.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

We have used:
Feather Flock (lighter grey)
dulux/en/colour-details/feather-flock

and
Warm Pewter (darker grey)
dulux/en/colour-details/warm-pewter

I am always wary of grey coming out as lilac, we had that once and had to redo the area.

I used this one in a spare room and it has come out as pale grey with no tinges of other colours.

We have just painted cupboard doors in our spare room with this - really pleased with the result. Don’t know if the sale is still on but we got it with 30% off then an additional 20% off.

We use the farrow and ball or little green paint charts but get them mixed at a decorators centre (Johnson’s or dulux). Have shades of grey in many rooms but no lilac in sight.

We have lots of different greys but the most recent is rocksalt by dulux, it’s more of a white with a hint of grey though.
Looks more white in the en-suite but more grey in the front room so the type of light you get into the area can affect the colour too

Farrow & Ball - Lamp Room Grey

Not the cheapest but you can B&Q to colour match it with their incredible Valspar 700 paint which makes it half price

We have just had hall landing stairs decorated in pale grey (dulux trade "frosted steel")

Same here. We have F&B’s Cornforth White in our living room and love it.
