Kitchen decorating
Well I decided that as I’d had a new boiler fitted in March it was about time that I redecorated the kitchen as wallpaper had to be removed around the new boiler. I bought the paint and a small tub of polyfiller and started stripping the wallpaper.
Unfortunately lumps of plaster came off with wallpaper & there were patches of anaglypta type paper covered with eggshell paint & varnish |

Looking good!
I'm expecting to have to replaster a lot of the house we are moving to as looks like the walls have been lined and then painted but now the paper is bubbling up. Doesn't appear to be damp just age I guess so don't think polyfilla will cut it if it takes chunks out What colour are you going for? Btw have you got 2 serving hatches?

OP. Coming along well. Plastering looks good, always nice to see a good 'spread' at work.
In photo No 4 is that a small serving hatch? Sorry but these things intrigue me! You could put a nice moulding on top of the tiles where they meet the new plaster.
