Magic eye for sky in another room?

Does anyone have a magic eye to watch sky in another room? We already have multi room but need to watch sky in our loft conversion. We would have to get another phone line installed for another box so want to have a magic eye.

Has anyone got one? Which one is the best? Thanks

Yes we have one also. It's always been great for us, had it for a few years now. It only has the wire that goes into the socket behind the TV.

Yes we have a multi output set up with 3 sky boxes feeding bedrooms, kitchen, living rm and gym all being distributed from one central source. The magic eye needs a co ax cable which originates from the rf outlet on the back of the sky box (you need to go into sky box settings to turn 9v rf outlet on). We have ours going through splitters so that we can change the same box in multiple rooms and so you need a splitter that can allow the 9v signal through.
If you just want it for just one extra room you will only need the co ax from sky box to tv however ensure you use the correct outlet on the sky box and switch on rf outlet. Then connect it behind the tv and allow the sensor to show, to pick up remote.

I was looking at these last night too as would like to watch sky in our bedroom but got confused about whether we need to run a cable between the two tvs and the lounge is quite a long way from the bedroom?

I had this confusion also (and I've used one previously!) since we bought our new house. Because it did not come with a built in aerial I sought some advice and it seems that to get it to work you need to have an aerial splitter from the main aerial and your sky box fitted to that. Then for the Magic Eye to work you'll need your *bedroom aerial point connected to the Main Aerial then the Magic Eye into the socket at the back of Bedroom TV which then feeds into the wall

Anyone please correct me if I'm wrong!

I'm not sure on the actual set up as sky did it for us about 10 years ago now sorry . But we recently had to have a new sky box and the engineer told us that sky are changing the back of their boxes so all new ones won't have the ability to fit a magic eye and the only choice will be to pay out for a multi room package.
