Good Neighbour Hotels Plus Tickets

Has anyone booked a Good Neighbour Hotel plus Ticket through the Disneyland Website?

I booked the Fairfield Inn with tickets for my daughter and son-in-law for end of July. I just paid the deposit but it looks like the documents don’t get sent until 4 or 5 days before arrival, if I have read that correctly.

Just wondering how they would go about reserving their park days if the tickets cannot be linked to the Disneyland App.

I could pay the balance at any point but would this release the ticket numbers in order to link for park reservations?
