Mobile Dining credits and Epcot booths

Has anyone used their dining credits to either buy a lanyard for the festival booths or just paid for food at them?

Isn't the "dining credit" just a gift card ? So I don't see why not, you could after all use your snack credits when it was Dining plan.

It functions the same as a gift card SD, but it's limited to which venues you can use it at. But since the booths accepted DDP and regular gift cards, I can't see why it wouldn't accept the dining card either.

Thanks both. I guess it doesn’t matter too much what I use the credits for. I was just thinking I might ‘budget’ in the other meals and use the credit to splurge on food booths 🤣

I didn’t realise it’s use is limited loldis.
Which restaurants can you not use it at please?

It's that it's limited to dining venues. Some people were thinking it would just be a standard gift card they could use in shops, which is why I clarified it's specifically limited to dining.

You should be able to use it at any Disney owned TS/QS without issue. And third party should accept it as well although someone did have an issue at Rix (CSR) very early on. Not sure if it was just a training issue or not.

Current grey area is smaller kiosks and booths. We just don't know yet tbh, not enough reports back.

I noticed on the list of places the gift card is accepted that some of the sweet/bakery style shops Goofy candy shop and Karamell-Küche where not listed. However they are available on mobile order and as you can use your food gift card via mobile order I would assume would let you use it at these locations via mobile order.
