I’m going to make an ohana bread pudding with banana fosters sauce - I much prefer hot desserts although they are a bit of a pain to make.

We aren’t having ours until Boxing Day though, as we are always too stuffed after Christmas dinner for dessert - that’s where the selection boxes come in! 😂

We're doing a nice chocolate roulade. Not too heavy after all that meat and spuds.

I'm not cooking this year but what about a little lemon posset pot with a shortbread or biscoff biscuit?

We have made our puddings and will have them on Boxing Day.

On Christmas Day we open a bottle of dessert wine (sauternes or vin santo) and have some cantucci biscuits to dip in it. Luxurious but light.

I usually try to do something lemony as I think it’s quite refreshing after a big meal. I’ve done lemon tart, lemon cheesecake (non baked) or a lemon and raspberry eton mess before. I usually have to transport my offerings so I never do anything too fancy!

I love a pavlova. Very yummy.

If I am absolutely stuffed, I, and many of our friends say the same thing, find that a scoop of vanilla ice cream settles that over full feeling.

I always do a Xmas Pud and brandy sauce for DH, and my dad will have a small portion - DD and I usually have something lighter, often an M&S trifle or their Raspberry Panna Cotta.
