Mobile Brie cheese

I have just looked in the fridge and yet again there is brie cheese left over from our Christmas cheese selection.
We never know what to do with it, or should I say, we don’t know what to do with the white stuff that surrounds it 🙈
Can you eat it?
We take it off but its such a faff and we end up left with hardly any cheese 😬😬
What even is that fluffy white stuff ?

Yes you can eat the white bit. It's just the outside of the cheese. In our house it would be sliced and toasted in panini's with cooked bacon and cranberry sauce. Classic combination

Yes it's fine to eat, I believe it is a kind of mold, but it adds to the taste I think and is perfectly safe.

We used up our leftovers with cranberry sauce in baguettes (yum)

It is delicious!

Love Brie, slice it and melt on anything. Or bake and dip things in it.

I love it with sliced Turkey and cranberry in a toastie or a salad and we leave the rind on. It’s also lovely in a salad too!

Ooh I love Brie and certainly never left in this house. You can eat it all and as others have said it’s great in toasted sandwiches, panini’s with bacon, turkey, cranberry etc. it melts really well.
It’s nice dipped in bread crumbs and deep fried too, or baked and dip bread in it.

I love brie, but always cut the rind off, don't know how anyone can eat it, it stinks of ammonia 🤢

I agree with everything above-I also like to slice it up and put it into the grooves of a garlic baguette before cooking it in the oven 😍
