ADRs... what’s the deal?

Hopefully going to WDW this August but feel very out of touch with the changes that have happened in recent months.

Am I still able to book ADRs six months in advance?

60 days out now. Can still use +10 if staying onsite.

Is the availability the same if you book at 60 days out, i.e. usually very good?

It's struggling a bit at the moment because restaurants are seating fewer tables, some are still closed, etc. But it's OK if you're on it quick, especially using the +10.

What is the +10?

It's when you're staying onsite, you can book your ADRs for the full length of stay (up to 10 days) at 60 days from check-in. Helps to get those really popular ones.

I hope you don’t mind me jumping in on this. We’re also travelling in August and stopping onsite so with the 60 day rule, are the ADR reminders within the Dibbs vacation planner accurate? Also, should we compensate for the 5 hour time difference?

Not sure if the DIBB ADR reminder has been updated to 60 days out. I’ve entered my dates and shows 6 months out details.

I think I read somewhere that it’s 11am UK time as it opens at 6am in Florida. I’m sure someone else can help with that.

On a separate note, you can pre-plan Genie for your restaurants and it gives you a countdown. I did it all for mine but it won’t give you a notification.

Wow I didn’t realise you could do that. We are still in 180 day planning mode so having the choice to use Genie to “pencil in” restaurants really helps.
