Universal Annual Pass - Am i getting this right

We are due to go to Florida 28th May - 11th June; we have bought tickets from ATD - £956 - 3 park/ 7 day entry (was a special promo)

We are now going for a week in Feb (19th-26th)

Looking at Universals website it looks like a seasonal pass is c£1800 for the 4 of us so based on todays exchange rate thats c£1260 - so only £300 extra ?

Looked at block out dates and none seem to apply to our dates

Am i right?

If so do i just book directly on US website and collect from will call?

seems to good to be true!

It’s true. A lot of us have annual passes. Some will buy one for their party just for the discounts even when only having 1 trip as the difference is minimal.

I got them when it was 3 months free on top. They run a promo a couple of times a year normally.

You can upgrade your tickets to annual passes when you get there. Any customer service/ticket office can do it. There are a lot of threads on peoples experiences and costs involved including the 1 directly below this one.

They’ll give you the value of them towards the annual passes. It’s often more than you paid, especially if you got a special deal.

One thing to note with the seasonal pass is you cannot go into Universal on the days there is Mardi Gras concerts, going by previous years it should only affect a couple of days of your stay but worth noting incase you actually wanted to see any of the acts. You can still get into IOA on concert dates though.

Make sure you are looking at the 3-Park Seasonal Pass and not the 2-Park Seasonal Pass. The ticket you have from ATD covers all 3 parks. Of course, if you aren't bothered about visiting Volcano Bay then just get the 2-Park pass anyway.

Also make sure you include tax at 6.5%.

A 3-Park Seasonal Pass costs $479 with tax. So that's $1916 for 4 people - or £1416 at the current exchange rate. Which makes it £460 more than the tickets you have. Worth it if you are going in both Feb and May.

The 2-Park Seasonal Pass is even cheaper!
