We tend to stay here and either eat the random contents of the fridge before we leave home or take an M&S picnic and some wine or fizz.
We ate in the Thyme there once and I really wouldn’t again personally. Just didn’t enjoy it.
We always stay at The NEC PI with work so maybe I’ve just endured too much of it?!

haaa. i know that feeling well. We have been spoiled with some luxury in the past that now certain places that we used to like just don't cut it anymore but with 2 kids, we don't get a choice! It is a wonderful idea doing a M&S picnic although id prefer a proper hot meal beforehand I think, maybe I should be super cheeky and do a bit of both, as it is our acutal wedding anniversary that day! It is good knowing there is a Mc donalds nearby or I can add on the deal! Thanks

Have a great trip!
OH usually asks for a bucket of ice at the bar to shove the fizz into in our room and they’ve always been more than happy to provide it.

There’s lots of choices on the Bath Road in the various hotels as well as a drive through MacDonalds next to the Raddisson Edwardian and even a diner in the Heathrow bowl (ten pin bowling optional)

It can be hit and miss especially at present because of staff shortages and food shortages.

I had the sweet potato curry last time and no mango chutney! It also was a smaller portion and wasn't that spicy.

I like the breakfast but not at 6am!

You can decide when you arrive if you want the meal deal.

There is a McDonald's fairly close by

We are booked for next month and went with the breakfast deal as Ds eats like a horse so it was a good deal.

I’m not far from Heathrow, and you could drive to one of the lovely local pubs. The Pheasant in Harlington is one of my faves, The Plough is another one very local. Sipson Tandoori is 😍 there’s also 2 McDonald’s & KFC, Starbucks, and Staines town centre isn’t far by car at all with plenty of options to choose from!
