We were at EPCOT last week and the pearl section in Japanese store was not open although there is water in the tanks.

Since our first Disney visit in 1995 I’ve been curious about the Pearl Factory but as I’ve never seen prices displayed I’ve been very wary, I guess the old saying of “if you have to ask, you can’t afford it” has always been at the back of my mind.
It’s strange as I’ve happily browsed in the Mikimoto shop in Las Vegas but at least the prices were clear!

I’d love to know what sort of prices they are if anyone is willing to share what they paid.

Should mention, we were at Disney Springs on Friday on the way to MCO and the Pearl Factory was most definitely open.

Prices at Mitsukoshi were clearly on display. In 2010 we paid £80 for 2 pearls and earrings. That price was mostly for the sterling silver settings.

That’s not bad. Hubby bought Mikimoto pearl studs for my 30th back in 99 and I think they were $400 then albeit it 18ct gold settings. My parents bought me black Pearl studs for my 40th but they have a definite green tinge to them and I’ve always wanted dark grey Pearl studs, with our without diamonds, hence my fascination with The Pearl Factory.

I had to settle for a diamond tennis bracelet for my 50th as there were no suitable pearls but I keep an eye open
