Refillable mugs & off site break

I know refillable mugs work if you do a split stay but what about if your split stay has a gap where you go off site for a few days.
We like getting the refillable
Mugs but we have 3 days at universal in the middle of our holiday. Will they still work when we check back in to Disney? The whole holiday is 14 days of that helps.

They are supposed to be length of stay. I would go and speak to a cast member and see if they can override for you. Officially no though

The mug I have is good for 14 days ( Im staying 11 ) It automatically registers for 14 days, unless your continuous stay is longer, then they have to manually update it for whole length of the longer stay.
Plus I paid cash, it wasn't linked to my room as such x

It works at all hotels for at least 14 days, sometimes longer, so you don�t need to do anything it will just work.

As above, unless they got a "bee in their" bonnet & changed it, which I don't see happening. As an aside we had 1 weeks FD followed by 3 weeks onsite & we were still using our free mugs on the last day!
