NHS dentist help

Quick question.

Can I go to any dentist even if its not where I live?

I'm still registered to my old NHS dentist, as there is 2 year waiting lists in my new area.

I need to change my details, but don't want to get in trouble 🤣

Hi, You have to contact them to ask them to take you on. They may not have �space�

I�m sure it can be anywhere, provided you can travel there😊

If you are still registered there it shouldn�t be a problem. I carried on seeing my dentist for years after I moved about an hour away.

You can choose any Dentist anywhere. It's not like a Doctor's where you have to live in their catchment area.

I'm already registered and have been a few times since I moved. Just forgot to change my address 🙂
Its 90 mins away, but I work near by.

Also if there�s no spaces in the area, I think there�s a form with the nhs you can fill out to request an nhs space and they will find you one (or so my brother reckons, I went with a cheap private for a check up cause I was worried)

Go to a dental hospital. You may have to wait but will be seen.
Let�s hope we never have to lockdown again. It�s going to take years and years of suffering before we get on top of things we should be taking for granted like the nhs.
To be fair the dentists have made an effort post covid unlike mos gps who still struggle to realise the pandemic has moved on from 18 months ago.
