Swan hotel

Hi all we are looking at staying at the swan hotel in August 2023. There will be a family of 6 and a family of 4. Each family has children in with the agr ranges 4-17.
We usually stay at the beach club but prices are so high for here.

Does this hotel cater for kids.

Does this hotel have the extra hours before and after park opening and closing.

Would people recommend staying here.

Thanks in advance

Both Swan & Dolphin comes with the same perks as a Disney deluxe, so you get early entry and evening hours. The main difference is they no longer use Disney operated buses, but you can easily get a Boardwalk/BC bus and walk back if you don't want to wait for their shuttle. Especially at MK since it will be from TTC instead of the Disney bus stops.

It's not somewhere I would stay personally, but that's not any indication of the hotel quality. I'm just not a fan of the Crescent Lake area so paying more to stay there than elsewhere on property doesn't appeal. Especially at the rates I've been seeing, seemed to jump up a lot after the deluxe perks were announced.

We were due to stay in October but when we rescheduled for this year, the price increases are very significant as Loldis noted. It used to be a well placed alternative but once you add in the resort fees plus parking costs, it isn't the value it used to be.

Would POFQ be a better option as the main pool there is great for kids of all ages and you also have the boat down to DS which could give the older ones a little of the freedom they would get with access to the Boardwalk area? Also POFQ would be a lot cheaper than Swan now.

Thank you all. We are also looking at the dolphin hotel too.

Also can you walk across to the yacht and beach club to get into the Disney buses.

We were booked at Dolphin,it was £3K cheaper than BC and to be within walking distance of 2 parks far outweighs any perk from other hotels . We only cancelled due to covid . I’d stay there in a heartbeat

Not sure if it is relevant to you but Swan rooms have Queen beds whereas the Dolphin has the smaller doubles beds
