We have been to both Blue Springs State Park and Lake Louise State Park. Blue Springs is great for tourists with swimming and boat rides etc, Lake Louise is more of a natural place just off US27 south of Clermont. Nice walks in natural countryside.

Another vote for Lake Louisa. Perfect for a gentle stroll through nature. Remember to take the bug spray though

This is one of our favourites. We enjoy the boat tour and the captains are great guides and point out the interesting wildlife etc. We like to round it off with a visit to the Sugar Mill restaurant and cook our own pancakes not the griddle. (This is about the only time she does any ‘cooking’)

Agree, going back again on our next trip May 2020. beware that the boat rides end about 1pm so need to get there early. About 2 hr drive fro the 192

Not wanting to start a heated tipping/service charge debate, they do add 18% to the bill regardless of the number of people eating. They may make it clearer now as I believe there were many people saying they were not aware.
Wouldn't stop me eating there, love their blueberry and apple pancakes

Agree with getting there early. Last time we went the Sugar Mill was, as usual, busy so we had to book a table and they said as we had the boat booked if we were a bit late back from the trip they would hold the table for us - which we appreciated.
