We looked very carefully at all 3 options - for us we will stick with the terrace (we have done it before but our MIL and granddaughter havent) - we felt for our group the terrace is still the right place for us

I started this thread and we did the pre fireworks dessert party a few weeks ago. We did rush the desserts a bit so we could go and stake out a place, but we needn’t have worried, it wasn’t too bad. We ended up leaning against the back fence but we were sat down right up to the fireworks starting. We weren’t at all squashed. Not like Main Street. I would have hated that and my DS in a wheelchair wouldn’t have seen much at all. However that was right at the start of them doing the “after “ party, so it’s possible it wasn’t well known about then.
