We were pleasantly surprised when visiting the US for the first time that the mains arrived as we were still eating the starter and we were left the bill when we were clearly about 10-20% away from being done- we feel it gives us a lot more control over proceedings. My OH in particular has a real bugbear about hanging around after eating. Especially when you're on a holiday where there is so much to shoehorn in! Was really surprised to come on here and see people complaining about the same thing- we must be culturally American when it comes to food

I asked some Canadians who go to WDW and they tip around 20%, so there seem to be a lot of mixed messages.
