Magic behind the steam tour MK

DH would like to do this tour when we visit.
As the steam train is currently not running does anyone know how that affects this tour?
I have looked forward on the calendar and it still appears to be running through the summer.

Instead of starting at Main Street Station you walk to Fantasyland Station. We were told pre Christmas that it is only going to be offered on limited days.

It appears to be on every day except Friday and Saturday when we are there.
Did they say if you get to ride back to the shed?
Would be good to hear from anyone who has done this recently
