Changing the holiday- will Disney extend Dining plan
We are booked to go in May 1 week at CBR with DDP then a villa for 2 weeks. Due to a change in circumstances I’ve got to change the villa part of the holiday. We’ve booked through a TA so they are going to look at my options and get back to me. I asked about extending the Disney stay to 2 weeks, but they have said the only way to do this is to cancel the original week I have booked , and rebook for 2 weeks. I will loose the dining plan as it is no longer offered. Would Disney not offer the dining plan for the 2nd week, as I’m extending my stay? Or are my hands tied as I’ve booked through a TA, or is it worth contacting Disney and asking the question?

Disney would. With Disney direct you keep the original terms of the booking so extending, changing resorts, reducing stay etc you always get what would have been on offer at the time you booked at the price it would have been then. But that’s direct with Disney. A TA can do whatever they want.

We are with WDTC and have twice extended our stay, both times free dining extended. TA is different though, they have their own Ts and Cs.
