I can't wait to ride this I'm hoping it is open in September. I wonder if they will include a fast pass line for this?

does anyone know the rumoured date in May? I am only at Universal on 8th and 16th so I am hoping it isn't open and the park is quieter to get everything done (wishful thinking)

IOA will be really quiet everywhere other than the new HP as everyone will be in the queue for it

Not sure if this will be the same but we have done early entry into universal studios then been on the first hogwarts express into IOA and walked straight on to the HP ride there as the main park was just opening and others hadn’t had time to walk up.

There isn't a date yet. Someone in the park thought they heard the track being tested this week.

There's speculation they are holding opening after summer to counter Star Wars. I'm hoping it's open August myself, but not counting on it.

You actually want to be there before 9.00 to get through the entrance. They then let you walk further into the park and have the ropes at Hulk for rope drop. It the same in Universal although no rope just the rides are not open until 9.00. You can still get in the entrance ready to go on the rides. Gives you an big advantage over those arriving at 9.00

They also don't allow those in Harry Potter to go into Jarasic World and have that roped off. So the park is empty from the bridge at HP back to the Hulk so being inside for rope drop is a big bonus , as is using single rider queues when open.
