I think its an absolute disgrace that UK residence no longer apply. Why send the email out in the first place to international visitors! Its just another way to rip off the tourists. My wife and daughter will be very disappointed when I give them the news today.

Hi,
Think its still worth a try as its accepting for some people and not others. Maybe if you have been before or on their mailing list it might accept...

Would be grateful if those of you who have my original mail do not forward it on as it has our email address on

Hi - I've been trying to book 5 non-swim days at DC for Aug 2011 on their "Limited Time Holiday Gift Offer", which was emailed to me from DC.
3 days of trying to book on line and 3 phone calls to the USA later, all of which gave me differing excuses - I logged on to the DC site again just now, and they have changed the offer!
It is now called the Perfect Day" offer and to book it you must click the box for "visitors to Florida"
The price for non-swim has gone up from the initial offer of $129 - but there was some confusion as to whether this was for Florida residents only.
August prices are $169 dropping to $149 from 22nd Aug (and dropping again to $139 in September)
This includes a 14 day pass to either Busch Gardens, Aquatica or Sea World.
I'm annoyed I didn't manage to get booked at $129 - but have opted for the $149 day and the best thing is you can book ALL non-swim packages - whereas you normally have to book at least one swim package.
