Celebration Town Tavern - Do it!

We’ve eaten breakfast here. Popped in on a Sunday morning after a walk around the farmers market and thoroughly enjoyed it.
I’ve seen one of the funniest signs whilst walking around the lake in Celebration, just near the rocking chairs on the jetty. It said ‘It is a violation of Florida law to feed or harass the alligators’. I mean seriously. How many alligators were being harassed that they felt it necessary to put up a sign 😳

Yeah, open table as already posted... could only get 4pm as the latest time, put it to the family and the vote was yes - book it...

Cant see what activities etc will be on later that night though... will keep checking the website in the hope its updated

Mike who works in our clubhouse said he makes a mean clam chowder but isn't as good as The Taverns.
We've had some lovely meals there but don't sit near the bar when locals are watching sport

In all our trips, we've only been once (sort of) 2016 we finally made it, just as we arrived there was the most monsoon like rainstorm, we couldn't even see the other side of the street!
After half an hour waiting for it to abate, we gave up and went to Hooters on I Drive. It was still raining when we left there

Have now booked for 4pm til I decide what to do. Maybe see you there!

We go for lunch every holiday. We go on a Sunday, we do the farmers market 1st, then hire a bike from behind the hotel. Once done, we go and have lunch. It’s a lovely full day away from the parks

This ☝️ Is exactly what we are going to do on our first Sunday when we go. How long is the bike ride? And is it an easy route? It’s been awhile since I rode a bike lol 😂
