What dates are you looking at? I think ours were cheaper because we are going halfway through half term .. I signed up to an alert on Skyscanner which helped.

Already booked reward seats but had a look this morning and the same dates/flights are coming out at 715pp

23rd October to 2nd November. My works half term is 21st October (essex)\beds) but my kids (herts) is 28th

We’re 22 October until 2 November and booked BA from Gatwick to Tampa for £464pp a few weeks ago when the prices dipped. I’m sure they’ll come down again as they’re crazy at the moment.

I recon £40 per bag per person per leg.

BA LGW/TPA direct flights departing 29/10/19 return 5/11/19 plus Group W car 2 adults, 1 teen, 1 child £1592.
Might suit someone with a slightly later or extended half term?

I booked with finnair with AA codeshare and cancelled within 24 hrs . Baggage was £40 per person per flight and seats were very expensive on the codeshare . It came to over £2k by the time I’d done so no saving as indirect . I couldn’t look before I booked it though and finnair are a nightmare to ring up, I lost count how many times the line went dead when I was speaking to the. And had to keep ringing up and speak to yet another operator . Just our experience .

I'm completely gutted that I can't find acceptable priced flights for October from Glasgow. I'm actually starting to panic that I won't find them and won't be able to go! I'm looking at 12-26 October, anyone seen anything good for flights and car?
