Virgin UC upgrade - what do you think of this price?

I rang up last week and they quoted me £4500 to upgrade all my flight, went on today and coming back it £150 each so just booked for return. I think you need keep checking

£2000 did seem a lot but when I thought about it’s technically £500 per person per leg I thought in my head it didn’t seem too bad (epecially since when we started checking it was £7000! ) but putting it into perspective that I could instead buy a wholeeeee load of treats on holiday with that money I think I’ll hold off!

I’ll keep checking the prices and see how it goes! I’ve flown UC before so was just thinking of a little treat for my bf who hasn’t!

I got PE to UC for 188.00pp outbound. A couple of weeks later got inbound for 205.00pp. This was MAN - MCO for early March, I literally checked the app several times per day and upgrade prices were usually around 1200 - 1300 pp before sudden drop.
