Can anybody tell me if the Mercado has anything worth seeing there? In 2003 there were loads of shops, 2005 they were all being ripped down or refurbed. Wonder if it's worth crossing the road for this time - we're staying opposite it again this year!

Mercado was pulled down completely, and when I went last summer there was still a big open space with metal fencing round. It depends how long it takes them to complete the building but I doubt anything will be functional there for a while yet, although they do build amazingly quickly over there.

This really good news. I-Drive was awesome in the 90's. It was very sad to see what I-Drive had become in recent years.

Lets hope this is first of many new developments!
