sea world tickets for florida residents only?

I went to book our sea world tickets earlier and was delighted to find a $50 weekday ticket. It was only when I went further into the details that I found that these were only for florida residents. Is this actually the case? Do they check? I dont want to cheat the system but I also dont want to pay over the odds if everyone buys these tickets.
So, has anyone?

Yours will be uk based, you won't be able to complete it.

I know I've tried.

Viator are selling the reduced cost tickets in £'s and there doesn't seem to be a mention of it being for FL residents only.

I emailed seaworld at the weekend and they confirmed that anyone trying to book these $50 tickets from the UK will not be able to complete their booking

You have to show Florida ID such as driving license and sometimes another proof of address such as utility bill.

Hi
To get the florida residents discount you will have to pay with a american bank debit or credit card and show a utility bill with the Florida address showing.

Here's the link to the Viator offer at £34.66 viator/tours/Orlando/...-3348ORLSW_ARC seems there's limited amount of these tickets each day.no good for us as offer only runs to end of December.

Just had a look at Viator. For 2A 1C 1T, it would be just over £100 for a day, compared to £250-ish for the 2 park ticket.

I have emailed Viator for more info. If this is correct, than that's a big saving.
