We flew into MCO on 10 Oct. I had a one page print out of the savetime barcode. In the garage I asked an Alamo attendant which row the standard SUVs were on. He said over there pick a car and go to the barrier. All that was asked for at the barrier was the print out, my license and credit card. The longest part was loading and going through the car controls.

I've not used Avis in a longggg while and I've just checked in online for my car and I've now received my email that states:

Your Reservation is Checked-In.

You reserved a Midsize SUV on October 15, 2014 in
Orlando, FL. Your Confirmation Number is *********

It then goes on to say that :

- Follow these steps when you arrive at Orlando Intl Arpt (MCO)

- Take the elevator down to the first level

- Alamo is located in the middle of the first floor. Please proceed to the Alamo counter to obtain your rental agreement and vehicle keys.

However there is an image that says "Bypass the counter to save time" when I click on that link though I get to a page that has a lot of HTML writing on it :

<p></p> <p></p> <p></p> <p><section><h3><b>Don't Like Waiting In Line?</b></h3></section></p><p><section><p><span style="padding-bottom: 13px;">Use Alamo's kiosk and you will be on your way faster.</span></p> <p><span style="padding-bottom: 13px;">When you use the kiosk, you don't need to visit the counter. You can go straight to your car.</span></p> <p><span style="padding-bottom: 13px;">This optional service is offered free of charge at this location.</span></p> <p><span>To use the kiosk, you will be required to confirm your protection options, agree to the Rental Agreement Terms & Conditions, and enter a valid credit card. (No change is made until you return your vehicle.)</span></p> </section></p>

Reading between the code - does this mean I can just go to the Kiosk at Alamo in the car park or do I just go to my car and then do all the paperwork at the barrier before I drive off? I'm just a little confused reading all the above posts.

Thanks

Fantasia Sam: have you completed Savetime with driving licence details?
If you complete Savetime and print the confirmation page with the barcode on then yes, you can go straight to choose a car.
If you do Savetime, you need to be ready to print the confirmation barcode page because it will time out and you'll lose the chance to print it. Good luck

It differs from the page layout that I have but having the barcode is the bit that matters as far as I know. It looks like you did OLCI and not savetime so that might be why a different layout. Have you submitted driving licence info?
