i only have a company phone so cant use data abroad.. techinically shouldnt use it at all

also prefer the larger screen of a tomtom i use almost daily in the UK

Stoopid question time... If I already have USA maps on a memory card do all I need is the update map purchase rather than a new map then just update the map on the memory card?

Thanks for the link. Just updated our us map for £6:95. We like using our tom tom saves on iPhone battery on a long day in the park. Used the map in California and Miami before so really handy for road trips. Love a bargain.

I am trying to buy a new map for usa with my tomtom go 910. Where do I put the discount code? I've gone as far as the payment page but can't see where to apply the discount?

It's before you get to the payment window (I think it's in the basket area).

Eventually got there! Had to disconnect the tomtom from the computer, delete my history on the computer, then go to tomtom.com. The option to put in a code then came up. Took a while but a great saving.
