Upgrading from a Mid Range SUV

Currently have a Midsize SUV booked thru Alamo with VH. It's ample for what we need but my son is a car nut and if i got something special he'd be over the moon.
What could i upgrade too realistically? 2 adults and one child and want room for the luggage so don't really want to go for a mustang or anything like that but want something special?!

What is special to one group maybe mundane to another but a guess for your groups size and comfort a Dodge Charger.
Think Dukes of Hazard.

As DuncanB says. The Charger will appeal to him.
The other option is to upgrade to Premium, not a great deal more and you could maybe get a Chrysler 300.
