Seems I didn't realise that groups were allowed.

I always thought that it was a cheat people were abusing.

I hereby withdraw my post and sorry if I offended anyone.

Easy enough done, don't worry about it.

It was more universal the post was relating to.

I'd seen people commenting elsewhere not to pay express passes and just always do single rider. Hence the view of it being abused by large groups from its intended purpose.

I did not realise it was acceptable for groups to do this.

But yeah the Dibb is invaluable for planning and information.

DH and I used it more last year, occasionally we ended up in the same car or row. That was just a bonus though and we were always prepared to ride separately.

Reminds me of the The Big One at Blackpool, I had to ride alone (DS wasn't wall enough and DW chicken) and a staff member asked if there were any single riders. As I moved to the front on the queue he shouted "Please make way for Billy No-mates"

Perhaps we need any extra queue for those who have no-one to ride with or are looking to strike up a new relationship in the queue?

Ha, at the Billy No Mates comment.
We often use single rider line at Test Track after using our FP. There were 3 adults in front of us who were told no when they asked to sit together. I would be annoyed if they had let them, not fair on those who had queued ages in the normal line.

I have absolutely no problem with groups going in the single rider line as long as they are not families who have taken their children out of school in term time so they can get a cheaper holiday and hit the parks when they are quieter anyway.
