What's going on with the Alamo website?

According to the tweet they sent me there isn't a problem. Yet it's £1700 for a midsize SUV next yr for £17 nights and cheaper to get a Mustang ar £1300.
It was £500 last week sosomethings amiss!

Someone had a response from Alamo yesterday that its so far out the computer is setting the prices. Well thats what computers do!
I think they are hedging their bets ref Brexit and will drop in weeks/months to come - just a view.

As MrT said, hold off a bit Cath. I booked a 7 seater for my brother with Alamo two nights ago for his 20 day trip in October. He took the Gold package as he wants 4 drivers, £804 with a full tank of fuel. I went via Quidco as Alamo are offering 11% cash back, so a further £88 to come off when the cash back pays.

Hi MrT - the two I booked a few weeks ago were 6 weeks July thro to August, a 7 seater and intermediate, and were cheaper with VA so it was worth my paying with Amex for FC miles.

The 7 seater I booked two nights ago is his October trip... Alamo direct was a fair bit cheaper this time (£804 for Gold package), the Quidco transaction has tracked for £88 cash back... I'll get FX miles via Amex.

Hopefully that is it getting fixed as it seems to be directing you to a holding page when you request quotes now
