Mobile Flydrive into Miami Aug 2020 if anyone wants to book early!

Hi All.

We've just booked our group of 14 with Virgin Holidays as we saw a fantastic fly drive price to Miami that we were happy with.

Just checked and its still an OK price if anyone is interested and wants to book early for 12th August departure from Heathrow for 14 nights.

2 adults and 2 children showing around £3.5k

Just thought I'd put it out there as it was purely luck that I stumbled across the price Monday.

Hope it helps someone!

That seems very expensive,

what class car does it include? Also remember to factor in insurance with the hire car.

Everyone has their own price range that they are happy with. This is well below the prices we have been quoted for the school holidays. We specifically wanted the last 2 weeks and these are notoriously expensive.
We have booked for a family group of 14, so we weren't willing to wait out for the sales and these flights we were extremely happy with.

Hopefully someone will find them helpful.

So is that the price for all 14?

Had that been the price for 14, I think we would be swimming across the ocean! 😂

As detailed, that's the current price showing for 2 adults and 2 children with car.

I know there are people looking for sub £900 pp for August flights, which is why I put the post up.

We never go at August so that may be a very good price, as long as your happy with it that's all that counts👍

The last 2 weeks used to be cheaper, but now not the case. The airlines/tour operators have cottoned on to the fact that lots of people prefer the last 2 weeks as US schools have gone back and its slightly quieter. Every TA we have spoken to for quotes is advising to look around 5th August as this was cheaper, but we wanted the last 2 weeks. Thankfully we've got them at a price we're happy with x

Your last sentence sums it up.

A price you are happy with and that's all that matters. You can box this off now. However does your price include the correct size car and full insurance as VH fly drives don't supply an insured car.

If you are stuck pop onto the car forum and we will give you options one of which may be to ditch the free car altogether.

Thanks! As we've booked as a family group of 14 they've given us 2 8 seaters at a really good price. We've got our own car insurance travel cover through AMEX so we don't upgrade to the Gold insurance... We will possibly need to include additional drivers at some point but may be easier directly with Alamo x
