Mobile Has anyone ordered discovery pass prior to arrival and stayed onsite during blackout dates?

We love staying onsite but would stop offsite if we couldn’t! I’m debating whether to get 4 discovery tickets prior to our next trip and stop onsite. Some of our dates will be during the blockout dates ( the first two will be covered by being in the post I’m assuming ) can’t decide whether to get the magic plus if we did decide to stop off site or just get the cheapest one and stop onsite. I’ve noticed recently the hotel rooms for onsite are on a lot of the cheaper sites ( travel republic, booking.com, hotels.com etc)

Just wondering if anyone has stopped onsite during blackout dates and just showed easy pass. I think I may be nervous incase they won’t let us in! Thanks

Not the Discovery passes, but have done with the old style AP. You just show the hotel easypass at the gate and they let you in

Thanks. I’m really tempted to just get the cheaper pass and stay onsite. The other option is the magic plus to get EMH if stopping offsite. Probably work out the same money over the year.

We’ve done this a few times. They have to check your easy pass so can take slightly longer getting in but works fine 😊

Thanks that’s great. The only reason I wanted to get an magic plus was for early entry but if I can get that by staying onsite then that is great. Thanks
